About the Course

The Art of Winning

Winning has not been part of the agenda in tennis coaching for 30 years. In a lifetime of tennis coaching, the Art of Winning has been absent. In fact we have done virtually everything apart from looking at how to win. This is strange for a competitive sport like tennis. This course takes a critical look at how Winning a tennis match is taught. In the course we look at three key elements to teaching The Art of Winning.

  • Why winning Two Points in a Row is so difficult
  • The crucial difference between Quick Pressure and Delayed Pressure
  • How to set-up the practice court to teach Delayed Pressure

The course contains units that guide you through the first stages of The Art of Winning. We look in detail about how to help our players overcome the barriers to winning more matches.

There is the option to obtain a qualification in Mental Toughness. You can apply to take the course with questions on on Each unit. When you have answered the questions with 80% pass rate per section, you will automatically gain your qualification.
